By using our website or booking with our travel agents (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part, you must not use our Site.

We may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, and updates will take effect once posted. Your continued use of Rawfares.ca signifies your acceptance of those changes. Please review this page periodically.

GENERAL DISCLAIMER

Rawfares.ca acts as an intermediary travel service provider and does not own or control airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, cruise lines, or other suppliers (collectively, “Travel Suppliers”).

  • All bookings made through Rawfares.ca are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective Travel Supplier.
  • We are not liable for failures, errors, delays, schedule changes, cancellations, or financial defaults of Travel Suppliers.
  • If a Travel Supplier defaults prior to providing a service, your recourse lies with the supplier, insurance coverage (if applicable), or other third parties.

Rawfares.ca facilitates reservations but does not guarantee Travel Suppliers’ services, financial condition, or refunds unless directly caused by our error.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Information on the Site (text, prices, graphics, links, etc.) is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Rawfares.ca makes no warranties (express or implied) regarding:

  • Accuracy or completeness of information.
  • Suitability for a particular purpose.
  • Timeliness of services or content.

We are not liable for:

  • Viruses, technical errors, or interruptions when using our Site.
  • Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits).
  • Service disruptions due to factors outside our control (weather, strikes, government actions, etc.).

Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total charges of the booking giving rise to the claim.

INSURANCE DISCLAIMER

If you purchase Travel Protection, coverage is provided by the insurance supplier. Rawfares.ca is not responsible for any acts, errors, or omissions of the insurance provider.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rawfares.ca, Holiay Breakz Group LLC., its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from:

  • Your breach of these Term & Conditions.
  • Misuse of our Site.
  • Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

RELEASE

If you have disputes with Travel Suppliers, you release Rawfares.ca and its affiliates from all claims, demands, and damages arising from such disputes.

PRIVACY

Your use of Rawfares.ca is governed by our Privacy Policy , which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review it carefully.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

By using our Site, you consent to receive communications electronically (email, text, in-app messages, or notices on our Site). These electronic communications satisfy legal requirements for written communication.

SITE USAGE & BOOKING CONDITIONS

By using our Site, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old.
  • Have legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Provide accurate information when booking.
  • Use the Site only to make legitimate reservations for yourself or others with proper authorization.

Fraudulent, speculative, or duplicate bookings are strictly prohibited.

All fares, deals, and conditions may be subject to:

  • Availability and changes without notice.
  • Advance purchase rules, blackout dates, or minimum stay requirements.
  • Airline-specific policies, including baggage, cancellations, and refunds.

CANCELLATIONS & EXCHANGES

  • All airline tickets are non-refundable, except where airline policy allows.
  • In cases where cancellation is permitted, you may receive airline credit (subject to airline rules, fare differences, and Rawfares.ca Service Fees).
  • A CAD $50 per passenger, per ticket Service Fees applies to all cancellations made through Rawfares.ca, in addition to airline penalties.
  • Refunds or credits are processed according to airline timelines and may take 6–8 weeks or longer.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. Rawfares.ca is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of external sites accessed via such links.

GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Term & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada and the USA. Any disputes will be handled through mediation or arbitration where available, and if unresolved, may proceed in courts with proper jurisdiction.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • All charges, including our Service Fees, airline tickets, hotel bookings, pre-paid car rentals, and vacation packages, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in fare rules.
  • Travel Protection (if purchased) is refundable within 10 days of purchase, provided travel has not commenced and you contact our customer service center to cancel.
  • All cancellations must be made by phone with one of our agents.

Refund requests may be considered only if:

  1. Fare rules permit cancellation and refunds.
  2. You are not a “no show” (most no-show bookings are not eligible for refunds).
  3. Our team is able to secure waivers from travel suppliers.

Processing timelines vary, and Rawfares.ca cannot guarantee when refunds will be completed. Requests are handled sequentially. Once you submit a cancellation request, you will receive an email acknowledgement with a tracking number. This acknowledgement is not confirmation of a refund—it is only confirmation that your request has been received.

Refunds are subject to travel supplier rules (airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, etc.). Once a refund is approved, it may take 60–90 days or longer for the credit to appear on your statement.

  • Supplier penalties and Rawfares.ca Service Fees (CAD $50–$300 per passenger, per ticket) apply to all refunds.
  • Service fees are only charged if a refund is successfully authorized. If the travel supplier denies the refund, we will refund any Rawfares.ca Service Fees collected for processing.

Cancellation Password

For your protection, Rawfares.ca may issue a unique Cancellation Password to your registered email.

  • You must provide this password to our agent when confirming your cancellation.
  • Passwords expire within 3 hours. If expired, you must call again to request a new one.
  • If you cannot access your email or provide the password, we may be unable to complete the cancellation request.

Fare Changes

  • All bookings are not guaranteed until ticketed.
  • After confirmation, fares may change due to supplier updates. If a fare changes, we will notify you. You may either:
    • Accept the new fare, or
    • Cancel without penalty before ticketing and before your card is charged.

Once paid in full and ticketed, fares will not increase.

Credit & Debit Card Payments

  1. All cards must have a verifiable billing address (Canada, USA, or other countries listed at checkout).
  2. Hotel, car rental, and vacation package reservations are only guaranteed when you receive a confirmation number by email.
  3. At booking, we may request an authorization hold on your card. If the booking is not confirmed, the hold will be released.
  4. If your card is declined, we will notify you within 24–72 hours. Fare and booking details are not guaranteed until payment clears.
  5. Fraudulent transactions will be reported to airlines, banks, and law enforcement.
  6. By booking with Rawfares.ca, you agree not to dispute charges after receiving confirmed services.

For high-risk transactions (e.g., one-way international tickets), Rawfares.ca may request a Credit Card Authorization Form to be completed before ticket issuance.

Baggage Policy

  • Airlines may charge fees for checked or excess baggage. These fees are not included in your ticket price and must be paid directly to the airline.
  • Fees typically range CAD $15–$50 per bag, depending on airline policy.
  • For connecting flights involving multiple airlines, you may need to reclaim and re-check your luggage at connecting airports.

We make reasonable efforts to provide baggage fee information, but final policies are determined by the airline.

Airline Schedule Changes & Cancellations

Airlines may change flight numbers, times, routes, or cancel services due to:

  • Seasonal demand
  • Operational needs
  • Fuel prices
  • Government restrictions
  • Weather events or natural disasters

Rawfares.ca is not liable for such schedule changes or cancellations.

Customer obligations:

  • Reconfirm flights directly with airlines 24–72 hours before departure.
  • Check email and airline updates for schedule changes.

If your flight is cancelled or rescheduled:

  • Contact Rawfares.ca or the airline directly.
  • We will attempt to assist with rebooking or refunds based on airline policy.

Other Important Terms

  • Unaccompanied Minors: Airline rules and fees apply; some carriers may not allow minors to travel alone or may require nonstop flights.
  • Visas & Entry Requirements: It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct passport, visas, and entry documents. Rawfares.ca is not liable if you are denied boarding or entry.
  • General Restrictions: Some discounted fares may not earn frequent flyer miles. Seat requests are passed to airlines but are not guaranteed.
  • Human Error: If Rawfares.ca makes an error in booking, we will make reasonable efforts to correct it. Our liability is limited to our Service Fees plus a future travel voucher (up to CAD $50).

Terms & Conditions for Flight Bookings

International Travel Requirements

International travel may be subject to the Montreal Convention, which governs airline liability for passenger injury, death, and certain travel-related incidents. Airlines may limit their liability under this convention.

As a traveler, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you possess all documents required for entry, transit, and departure from any country on your itinerary. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • A valid passport
  • Required visas (business, tourist, transit)
  • Health documentation or other government-mandated entry documents

Government authorities, immigration officers, or airline personnel may request these documents at any time. RawFares.ca is not responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, or any travel disruption caused by your failure to meet these requirements. Travelers must review all travel advisories, restrictions, warnings, and government-issued notices related to their destination prior to departure.

Visa and Passport Responsibility

Before booking, travelers must consult the appropriate Embassy or Consulate to confirm the most current passport, visa, and entry requirements. Requirements can change without notice.

While RawFares.ca may provide general guidance, we do not guarantee accuracy and are not liable if you are denied travel due to incomplete or incorrect travel documentation, including transit documentation required when you do not exit the airport.

You must verify and comply with all entry, re-entry, transit, and exit requirements for each country on your itinerary.

Health and Vaccination Requirements

Travelers are responsible for ensuring compliance with the health requirements of each country visited. This may include:

  • Vaccinations
  • Preventative medication
  • Medical clearances

Health requirements can change at any time. RawFares.ca strongly recommends consulting with a qualified healthcare professional prior to travel. We are not liable for any health-related issues arising before, during, or after your trip.

Aircraft Disinfection

Airlines may apply approved disinfectants onboard when deemed necessary to protect public health. These procedures may include:

  • Spraying aerosolized insecticide while passengers are onboard
  • Treating aircraft surfaces with residual insecticide prior to boarding

These substances comply with World Health Organization (WHO) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards. RawFares.ca does not represent or guarantee the safety of any international destination and is not responsible for any losses or damages related to travel risks.

Airline Baggage Policies

Each airline establishes its own baggage allowance, fees, size/weight limits, and restrictions. RawFares.ca endeavors to display current baggage information but does not guarantee accuracy, as airlines may update policies without notice.

Travelers must verify baggage allowances directly with the airline before departure.
Baggage fees are not included in the cost of flights booked through RawFares.ca unless explicitly stated.

Baggage Protection Services

RawFares.ca may offer optional third-party baggage protection services. These services are provided solely by the third-party provider, not RawFares.ca. Terms may include:

  • Assistance tracking misplaced or delayed checked baggage
  • Compensation in the event baggage is declared lost
  • Email updates regarding the status of mishandled baggage

To qualify, travelers must report baggage issues to both the airline and the protection provider within the required timeframe (typically within 24 hours of arrival).
All claims must first be filed directly with the airline.

RawFares.ca is not responsible for delays, denial, or decisions made by third-party baggage protection services.

Check-In Responsibilities

Airlines maintain their own check-in requirements. Travelers must verify rules directly with the operating carrier. RawFares.ca recommends the following:

  • Domestic flights: Arrive at least 90 minutes before departure
  • International flights: Arrive at least 3 hours before departure

Failure to meet check-in or boarding deadlines may result in denied boarding and forfeiture of your ticket. RawFares.ca is not responsible for missed flights.

Airline Schedule Changes

Airlines may modify flight schedules due to weather, operational issues, crew shortages, civil unrest, or other factors. These changes may include:

  • Delays
  • Cancellations
  • Aircraft substitutions
  • Changes from nonstop to connecting itineraries

These changes are initiated by the airline. RawFares.ca is not responsible for airline schedule changes.

When possible, we will notify you of changes; however, airlines may not always inform us. Travelers must confirm flight status with the airline at least 72 hours prior to departure.

If a cancellation occurs, the airline determines available rebooking options. After check-in, all rebooking or disruption management is handled solely by the airline.

In the event of last-minute changes or if you are already at the airport, consult airline staff directly for assistance.

Overbooked Flights

Airlines may oversell flights. Compensation, rerouting, or denied-boarding policies vary by carrier and are governed by each airline’s Contract of Carriage.

Travelers should review the airline’s policy or speak directly with the airline. RawFares.ca does not control or influence airline overbooking practices.

Prices and Fares

All prices displayed on RawFares.ca are subject to change without prior notice until full payment is completed and a ticket is issued.

A booking is confirmed only when:

  • Full payment is received
  • The ticket is issued
  • A valid booking reference (PNR) is provided

If a fare changes prior to ticketing, RawFares.ca will notify you before completing the purchase. Prices are listed in CAD unless otherwise stated.

RawFares.ca may cancel bookings if full payment is not received. All flight segments must be used in the purchased order; out-of-sequence use may invalidate the ticket.

Cancellations and Refunds

Unless explicitly marked as refundable, all bookings on RawFares.ca are non-refundable.

If your fare permits cancellation:

  • Airline rules and restrictions apply
  • RawFares.ca may charge an administrative cancellation fee
  • Additional airline or supplier fees may apply
  • Refunds are processed only after airline approval

Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Suppliers may take 60–90 days or more to finalize refunds. RawFares.ca cannot expedite airline refund timelines.

Name changes are not permitted on most tickets. Corrections may incur additional fees from the airline and/or RawFares.ca.

Contact Centre Service Fee

Bookings made through our customer support agents may incur a service fee ranging from $10 to $200 per passenger, depending on itinerary complexity.

Service fees are included in the total price shown at checkout.
You are responsible for reviewing the final price before confirming your booking.

International Payment and Billing

Your credit card company may apply:

  • International transaction fees
  • Currency conversion fees
  • Exchange rate adjustments

These fees are determined solely by your card issuer. RawFares.ca is not responsible for discrepancies between the charged amount and the amount displayed on your credit card statement.

Special Requests (Seats, Meals, Frequent Flyer Numbers)

Requests for special meals, seating assignments, or frequent flyer credit are treated as requests only, not guarantees.

Airlines may alter seat assignments without notice. Some requests cannot be fulfilled due to equipment changes or operational needs. Travelers must confirm all requests directly with the airline.

Suitability of Travel Services

RawFares.ca provides travel options from various suppliers but does not guarantee the suitability or safety of any travel service.
You are responsible for evaluating risks associated with your chosen destination and itinerary.

Unaccompanied Minors

RawFares.ca does not allow unaccompanied minors under 16 years old to book travel independently. Airline rules vary regarding minors traveling alone, and some carriers prohibit unaccompanied minors or restrict them to nonstop flights only.

Travelers must confirm policies directly with the airline.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers may dispute charges with their credit card company; however, RawFares.ca encourages contacting our support team first so we may resolve the issue promptly.

Filing chargebacks without valid reason may result in:

  • Cancellation of your booking
  • Recovery of costs associated with the dispute
  • Use of call recordings or documentation to validate the transaction

By booking with RawFares.ca, you agree to our cancellation and service fee policies.

Terms & Conditions for Hotel Reservations

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all hotel reservations made through RawFares.ca (“RawFares,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a hotel through our platform, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any applicable hotel-specific policies.

Hotel Information, Photos & Special Requests

Hotel descriptions, images, amenities, room details, and other information displayed on RawFares.ca are provided directly by the hotel or its supplier. While we strive for accuracy, RawFares does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of this information.

Special room features (e.g., non-smoking, high floor, lake view, adjoining rooms) are not guaranteed and are subject to hotel availability at check-in.

Some rates may require eligible membership (e.g., corporate, government, AAA/CAA, AARP). If you cannot provide valid proof at check-in, the hotel may refuse the rate and charge the standard price. RawFares is not responsible for costs resulting from ineligibility.

Hotels may offer amenities such as airport shuttles, breakfasts, bonuses, or promotional services solely at their discretion. Availability is not guaranteed and may change without notice.

Pet Policies

Pet policies vary by hotel. Guests are responsible for confirming:

  • Whether pets are allowed
  • Applicable fees
  • Breed, size, or weight restrictions

RawFares is not responsible for pet policy enforcement or related charges.

Prepaid Reservations

Most hotel reservations on RawFares.ca are prepaid. Your credit card will be charged for the room cost at the time of booking unless stated otherwise.

Prepaid rates typically exclude:

  • Resort or facility fees
  • Cleaning fees
  • Energy surcharges
  • Mini-bar charges
  • Parking, meals, or local calls
  • Any other incidental charges

Such fees are payable directly to the hotel.

Hotel Vouchers & Check-In Requirements

Some hotels require a voucher at check-in. If applicable, RawFares will send this voucher along with your booking confirmation via email. Guests must bring a printed or digital copy.

Failure to provide required identification, voucher, or payment card may result in denial of service by the hotel.

Meal Plans

Where applicable, meal plans follow these standard definitions:

  • Room Only (RO): No meals included
  • Self-Catering (SC): No meals; cooking facilities available
  • Bed & Breakfast (B&B): Breakfast included
  • Half Board (HB): Breakfast + dinner (lunch may be substituted depending on hotel policy)
  • Full Board (FB): Breakfast + lunch + dinner
  • All-Inclusive (AI): All meals, local beverages, and certain included activities

Meal options are subject to hotel policy and availability.

No-Show Policy

A “no-show” occurs when a guest fails to check in on the booked arrival date without prior notice to the hotel or RawFares.

Hotels may:

  • Charge a penalty
  • Forfeit prepaid amounts
  • Cancel remaining nights

Penalties vary by property and date.

Hotel Confirmation Process

Hotels may take up to 24 hours to confirm a reservation.

Your booking is not considered confirmed until RawFares issues a final confirmation email containing:

  • RawFares booking reference
  • Hotel confirmation details
  • Your complete itinerary
  • Any required voucher (if applicable)

We strongly recommend confirming your reservation directly with the hotel 72 hours prior to arrival.

Hotel Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

To request a change or cancellation, contact:

  • Peak periods (e.g., holidays, major events) may have strict or non-refundable rules.
  • All modifications are subject to availability and may incur hotel fees.
  • Reducing nights, changing dates, or adjusting rooms may result in additional charges.
  • Hotels generally do not refund unused nights due to early departure.
  • Extended stays require a new reservation and may not match prior rates.
  • Refunds, when permitted, may take up to 60–90 days depending on hotel policy and payment processors.
  • RawFares service fees are non-refundable.

RawFares reserves the right to recover losses, costs, or damages arising from guest-initiated changes or cancellations.

Payment, Taxes & Fees

In addition to room charges, your payment may include:

  • Taxes based on hotel location (sales tax, occupancy tax, VAT, tourism fees)
  • RawFares service fees
  • Estimated charges required to secure the hotel reservation

Certain jurisdictions require hotels to collect taxes directly at check-in.
Currency conversion rates are approximate and are determined by your payment provider.

Source of Inventory

RawFares acts solely as a booking agent. We do not own, manage, or operate hotels.

Bookings are subject to:

  • Supplier terms
  • Hotel policies
  • Applicable local laws

Unless otherwise required, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Ontario.

Intellectual Property

RawFares.ca, including its design, software, graphics, and content, is owned or licensed by RawFares.

You may view and print reservation details for personal use only.

You may not, without written permission:

  • Copy
  • Distribute
  • Modify
  • Repost
  • Reverse engineer
  • Create derivative works

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Make fraudulent or speculative bookings
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, spiders, bots) without permission
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use another person’s account without authorization
  • Post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or inflammatory content

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RawFares, its partners, suppliers, affiliates, employees, and agents from any:

  • Penalties

arising from your breach of these Terms, applicable law, or misuse of our platform.

Release of Liability

For disputes involving a hotel or supplier, you release RawFares from:

  • Claims
  • Demands
  • Damages
  • Liability arising from the hotel’s acts, omissions, or service failures

RawFares is not responsible for service delivery by hotels or suppliers.

Disclaimers

You use RawFares.ca “as is” and “as available.”
RawFares does not warrant:

  • Availability of services
  • Error-free content
  • Timeliness or completeness of data
  • That hotels will honor requests or special rates

RawFares is not liable for:

  • Accidents or injuries

Liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid to RawFares for the specific reservation.

Car Rental Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing RawFares.ca for your travel needs. These Car Rental Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all vehicle rental reservations made through RawFares.ca, operated by Holiay Breakz Group LLC.

By booking a car rental through RawFares.ca (the “Site”), you acknowledge and agree to these Terms as well as the policies, requirements, and rental agreements established by the car rental supplier.

Taxes, Fees & Surcharges

Car rental bookings may include various taxes, surcharges, and mandatory fees, including:

  • State or local taxes
  • Airport facility fees
  • Environmental or energy recovery fees
  • Concession fees
  • Vehicle licensing fees

Where applicable, U.S. regulations require Value Added Tax (VAT) and other government-mandated charges. All prices shown during booking reflect estimated taxes and fees. Final totals may vary at the rental counter based on supplier policies.

Age Requirements

  • The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 19 years, unless otherwise specified by the rental supplier.

Additional Drivers

An additional driver may operate the rental vehicle only with the renter’s consent and after meeting the rental supplier’s documentation requirements.

  • The renter is fully responsible for all damages, violations, tolls, and liabilities incurred by additional drivers.

Driver’s License Requirements

All renters must present:

  • A valid driver’s license held for at least one year before the rental date.
  • For international renters:
    • A valid home-country license
    • An International Driving Permit (IDP), if required
    • A matching valid passport

Rental suppliers may decline rental if documentation is missing, expired, or invalid.

International Renters

Renters residing outside the United States are considered international renters.

At pickup, international renters must provide:

  • A valid driver's license from their home country
  • A valid passport showing the same name
  • A working contact number

Certain conditions or restrictions may apply exclusively to international renters depending on local laws and supplier rules.

Rental Deposits & Accepted Payment Methods

A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of pickup. Deposit amounts vary by vehicle type, rental duration, location, and supplier.

Some suppliers may limit or restrict:

  • Debit cards
  • Prepaid cards
  • Cash rentals

If the credit/debit card used at booking cannot be presented at pickup (lost, replaced, expired), you may be required to reprocess the rental. RawFares.ca may, at its discretion, waive cancellation penalties in such cases, but this is not guaranteed.

Vehicle Display & Availability

Vehicles shown on RawFares.ca represent the car class only, such as “Toyota Camry or Similar.”

RawFares.ca cannot guarantee:

  • Exact vehicle make or model
  • Vehicle color or features
  • Availability of a specific car

Final vehicle assignment depends on the rental supplier’s fleet at pickup.

Insurance & Protection Coverage

Depending on the location and supplier, the following coverage options may be available:

  • Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) / Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
  • Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI)
  • Rental Liability Insurance
  • Roadside Assistance (RSA)

Coverage details and exclusions vary by supplier and jurisdiction. The renter is responsible for reviewing all insurance options at booking and at the rental counter.

Mexico Insurance

  • Mexico insurance must be purchased before driving into Mexico.
  • It is only available for rentals near the California and Arizona borders.
  • Rates begin at $31 per 24 hours + taxes.
  • Rentals originating from Maui, Newark, or Vernal are not eligible and cannot enter Mexico.
  • Vehicles without proper Mexico insurance cannot cross the Mexico border under any circumstances.

One-Way Rentals

One-way rentals may be available depending on vehicle class, supplier rules, and pickup/drop-off locations.

Examples:

  • Newark to JFK Airport — permitted with a drop fee.
  • Maui to Vernal — not typically available.
  • Florida rentals — must remain within the state of Florida.

Drop fees vary based on distance, location, and supplier policies.

Cancellations, Refunds & No-Show Policy

Unless stated otherwise on your specific booking:

All RawFares.ca car rental bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE.

This applies to:

  • Rental charges
  • Taxes and surcharges
  • Service fees

If you cancel your booking, the full amount paid will be forfeited.
No refunds are issued for:

  • Early returns
  • Partially used rentals
  • No-shows
  • Unused optional services

If the original payment card cannot be presented at pickup and payment must be reprocessed at the counter, RawFares.ca may waive cancellation fees at its discretion.

Reservation Changes & Modifications

Bookings made through RawFares.ca cannot be modified.

If changes are needed (date, time, location, or vehicle class):

  • You must cancel and rebook at the current rates.
  • A new reservation will be created, and the previous one will remain non-refundable.

Optional add-ons such as GPS, child seats, or insurance may sometimes be added depending on rental supplier availability.

Child Safety Seat Requirements

Travelers must comply with all local child passenger safety laws.

Examples:

  • California: Children 8 years and under, or under 80 lbs, must use a child restraint system.
  • Arizona: Children under 5 years must use a child safety seat.

Child seats are not available for rentals originating in Vernal.

Failure to comply with local laws may result in penalties. RawFares.ca assumes no liability for violations.

Geographic Driving Restrictions

Driving limits vary based on pickup location.

Permitted Regions

For rentals originating in:

AZ, CA, CO, ID, KS, NE, NV, NM, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WY
→ Driving is permitted only within these states.

Florida
→ Vehicle must remain within Florida.

Texas
→ Vehicle may be driven in TX, NM, OK, AR, LA.

Illinois
→ Allowed in IL, WI, IA, IN, MO, KY.

New Jersey
→ Allowed to drive into Canada (with passport).
→ Canadian passport holders may be prohibited from driving U.S. rentals into Canada due to customs restrictions.

Washington State
→ Permitted only into British Columbia, Canada.

Maui
→ Driving permitted only on public roads.

Vernal, Utah
→ Driving permitted only within Utah unless prior consent is granted.
→ Out-of-state mileage is limited to 300 miles/day, with a fee of $0.25 per mile thereafter.

Mexico Travel

Permitted only with valid Mexico Insurance purchased in advance and only from eligible border-state locations.

Supplier Policies & Responsibilities

All rentals are subject to the rental supplier’s:

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Accidents, injuries, theft, or property damage
  • Mechanical issues or breakdowns
  • Supplier errors or service failures
  • Denied rentals due to insufficient documentation
  • Additional charges imposed by rental suppliers
  • Losses caused by weather, natural disasters, or government actions

Your rental agreement is between you and the rental supplier, whose terms will govern your use of the vehicle.

Cruise Terms & Conditions

These Cruise Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all cruise reservations made through RawFares.ca. By booking a cruise through our platform, you agree to comply with the policies set by RawFares.ca and the cruise line operating your itinerary.

Pricing Information

Unless otherwise noted:

  • All cruise prices are per person,
  • Based on double occupancy,
  • Quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD), and
  • Do not include government taxes, port charges, fees, or airfare.

A $35 non-refundable processing fee per booking applies. This service fee is not included in advertised prices.

Cruise lines reserve the right to impose a fuel surcharge, payable before departure, if required under their policies.

All special-rate passengers must present a government-issued ID (passport, birth certificate, driver’s license, etc.) to verify address, age, or residency before boarding.

RawFares.ca strives for accuracy, but is not responsible for pricing errors, content inaccuracies, or omissions. Final cruise fares may vary based on:

This includes first, middle, and last names with correct spelling.

Name corrections or changes may result in:

  • Cruise line change fees
  • RawFares.ca service fees
  • Possible re-ticketing or rebooking requirements

Notify us immediately if any corrections are needed.

Baggage Allowances

Cruise baggage policies vary by cruise line.

  • You must review and verify baggage rules directly on the cruise line’s website.
  • RawFares.ca is not responsible for notifying you of policy changes.
  • Cruise lines may limit the number of bags or weight per suitcase.

Please review baggage requirements before booking.

Special Requirements

If you have special needs—including:

  • Traveling with an infant
  • Dietary restrictions
  • Medical conditions
  • Mobility needs
  • Accessibility requirements

RawFares.ca will submit your request to the cruise line; however:

  • Requests are not guaranteed
  • Approval is at the discretion of the cruise line

Cancellations & Refunds

Refund rules depend on the cruise line and the fare type purchased.

Refundable Cruise Deposits

  • Refundable deposits must be fully paid prior to the listed deadline.
  • RawFares.ca processing fees are never refundable.
  • Group and charter sailings are not eligible for refundable deposit promotions.

Important Refund Rules

  • All cancellations or modifications must be handled through RawFares.ca, not the cruise line.
  • Cruise packages may be non-refundable in part or in full depending on fare conditions.
  • After booking is finalized, no changes to the number of passengers are allowed.
  • Both the cruise line and RawFares.ca may charge additional service or cancellation fees.
  • After travel has begun, no changes or cancellations are permitted.

Refunds, when applicable, will follow the cruise line’s terms and may take several weeks to process.

Holiday Packages Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all Holiday Package bookings made through RawFares.ca. By purchasing a Holiday Package—which may include combinations of flights, hotels, car rentals, activities, or other travel services—you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and the policies of all associated Travel Service Providers.

General Information

RawFares.ca reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms become effective on the date they are published on this website and supersede all previously issued or conflicting policies related to Holiday Packages, including policies regarding:

  • Changes and cancellations
  • Payment terms
  • Service fees
  • Supplier-specific conditions

Holiday Package bookings are additionally subject to the individual terms, conditions, and policies of each relevant Travel Service Provider, including but not limited to:

  • Airlines
  • Hotels
  • Cruise lines
  • Car rental agencies
  • Tour operators
  • Activity providers
  • Travel insurance providers

Whenever possible, RawFares.ca will provide direct links to these supplier terms during checkout. It is your responsibility to review and understand them prior to completing your purchase.

RawFares.ca is not responsible for:

  • Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies on our website
  • The acts, omissions, performance, or failures of third-party Travel Service Providers
  • Financial insolvency, operational disruptions, or policy changes made by Travel Service Providers

RawFares.ca provides travel management and booking facilitation services only and does not endorse, guarantee, insure, or make any warranty regarding supplier products, financial conditions, or the delivery of travel services.

Pricing, Taxes/Fees & Payments

Holiday Package pricing and availability apply only when purchased as a complete package. Pricing for individual components cannot be itemized due to contractual restrictions.

RawFares.ca service fees

  • Flights: $50 per passenger, per ticket
  • Hotels: $40 per room, per night
  • Car Rentals: Up to $40 per booking

These service fees apply to new reservations and are non-refundable.

What Package Prices Include

Displayed prices typically include:

  • Airfare
  • Hotel accommodation
  • Car rental (if applicable)
  • Activities or excursions (if applicable)
  • Taxes and fees associated with these components

Additional Costs Not Included

You may be responsible for additional charges imposed by Travel Service Providers, such as:

  • Fuel surcharges
  • Resort fees / destination fees
  • Security fees
  • Baggage fees
  • Seat selection fees
  • Incidentals at hotels
  • Parking fees
  • Child safety seat rentals
  • Additional driver fees
  • Collision damage waivers
  • Liability insurance
  • Vehicle drop-off fees
  • Gas refueling charges

Government entry/exit taxes may also apply depending on destination and must be paid by the traveler.

RawFares.ca is not responsible for informing you of supplier-imposed supplemental fees. Contact the provider directly with any questions.

Payment Requirements

  • Holiday Packages must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • RawFares.ca accepts all major credit cards with verified billing addresses in the United States or Canada.
  • By completing your purchase, you authorize RawFares.ca and its third-party partners to charge your credit card for the full package amount.

Travelers must also present a valid credit card when checking into a hotel or picking up a rental car. Debit cards may not be accepted by some suppliers—verify directly with the provider in advance.

Self-Transfer Package

If your flight itinerary includes our Self-Transfer Package, additional conditions apply.

By purchasing a flight with a Self-Transfer Package, you agree to the terms outlined within that protection plan. These provisions define:

  • What is covered
  • What is excluded
  • Your responsibilities for eligibility
  • Timing requirements for missed connections

Before purchasing, ensure that:

  • The self-transfer connection time is sufficient for your needs
  • You understand the risks associated with itineraries involving separate tickets

Travel Insurance

RawFares.ca may provide general information during the booking process, but the supplier’s terms always take precedence.

If a supplier modifies or cancels your reservation, their policies will apply. RawFares.ca will assist you as part of our customer support services, but we are not liable for:

  • Denied refunds
  • Additional charges
  • Changes due to supplier actions
  • Schedule changes or cancellations
  • Weather events or force majeure incidents

RawFares.ca service fees for changes and cancellations may also apply, and are non-refundable.

Booking Process Terms & Conditions

These Booking Process Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all Service Element reservations made through RawFares.ca. By submitting a Booking, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms, as well as the policies of all relevant Travel Suppliers.

Definitions

“Service Element”

A single travel product or service bookable independently on our website, such as:

  • Airfare
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Car rentals
  • Activities or attractions

“Travel Supplier”

Any third-party provider delivering one or more Service Elements (e.g., airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, tour operators). RawFares.ca arranges reservations as an intermediary, not as the principal supplier.

“Booking”

The process by which you submit an offer to purchase one or more Service Elements. A Booking becomes a binding contract only after the relevant Travel Supplier confirms availability and RawFares.ca receives full payment.

Formation of a Booking Contract

When we display Service Elements on RawFares.ca, this constitutes an invitation to submit an offer, not a contractual offer.

Your Offer

You submit a formal, irrevocable offer when you click “Book” on the Review Trip Details & Book page.

Our Response

  • The email confirmation you receive from RawFares.ca acknowledges receipt of your offer, but does not constitute contract acceptance.
  • Your Booking remains subject to availability verification.

Acceptance of Your Booking

A binding contract is formed only when all of the following occur:

  • The Travel Supplier confirms availability;
  • ca accepts the offer on behalf of the Travel Supplier;
  • Full payment is successfully received;
  • You receive confirmed documentation (e.g., flight ticket numbers, hotel confirmation numbers, car rental reservation numbers).

Until these conditions are met, price, availability, travel dates, and other booking details are not guaranteed.

Post-Booking Adjustments

RawFares.ca reserves the right to cancel or modify any component of your Booking—including traveler names, dates, or destinations—if required to comply with Travel Supplier rules or these Terms.

Supplemental Terms

Each Service Element (flights, hotels, cars, activities, etc.) is additionally governed by its own individual terms and conditions.
These apply in addition to the Booking Process Terms and supplement any items not addressed here.

RawFares.ca may update the Booking Process Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting.

Identification Requirements

A valid government-issued photo ID is required for:

  • Airport security screening
  • Hotel check-in
  • Car rental pick-up
  • Verification for additional services booked through RawFares.ca

International Travel Requirements

For international travel, you are solely responsible for ensuring:

  • A valid passport (many countries require validity of 6 months beyond entry)
  • Required visas
  • Transit visas for connecting flights
  • Health certificates, vaccinations, or insurance, where required

RawFares.ca is not responsible for:

  • Denied boarding
  • Delays
  • Deportation
  • Loss of travel services caused by failure to meet entry or documentation requirements

No refund will be provided in such cases.

Government Taxes, Entry/Exit Fees & Local Charges

Some destinations impose additional government-mandated:

  • Entry taxes
  • Exit taxes
  • Local tourism fees
  • Border control fees

These charges are not included in your Booking unless explicitly stated and must be paid directly by the traveler.

Passenger Requirements

All passengers listed on a single reservation must:

  • Travel together on the same itinerary,
  • Adhere to the same routing, and
  • Be included in the original booking submission.

Passenger count cannot be reduced after a Booking is created.

Pricing Errors

RawFares.ca reserves the right to correct any pricing errors. If an error is identified:

You will be provided with the option to either:

  • Cancel the Booking, or
  • Proceed at the corrected price, allowing RawFares.ca to charge the difference to your card.

Frequent Traveler Programs

Use of airline miles, hotel points, or other loyalty program benefits is not guaranteed and depends entirely on the Travel Supplier’s rules. Please verify eligibility directly with the provider.

Non-Transferability

Once confirmed, names and destinations on your Booking cannot be changed or transferred.
RawFares.ca and the Travel Supplier enforce strict non-transferability rules to prevent fraud and maintain fare integrity.

Delivery of Travel Documents

Unless extraordinary circumstances apply, your Booking will be fulfilled:

  • On the delivery date stated in your ticket confirmation email, or
  • On the date the airline issues the ticket, if no delivery date is specified.

Airline Contract of Carriage

For flight bookings, each airline’s Contract of Carriage governs the air travel portion of your itinerary. These terms are legally incorporated by reference and may include:

  • Limits on liability for personal injury or death
  • Time limits for filing claims or initiating lawsuits
  • Limits on liability for lost, damaged, or delayed baggage
  • Airline rights to modify contract terms
  • Rules for check-in, reconfirmation, and refusal of service
  • Policies for schedule changes, rerouting, delays, and substituting aircraft or carriers

Copies of the Contract of Carriage are available:

  • At airline ticket offices
  • Upon written request to the airline
  • On most airline websites

Pricing, Taxes, Fees & Payment Terms

Pricing Overview

Unless otherwise stated in your ticket confirmation or in these Terms & Conditions, all prices displayed on RawFares.ca include the taxes and fees applicable to airfare, hotels, car rentals, and activities included in your Booking.

However, many additional charges are imposed directly by the Travel Supplier at check-in or at the time services are consumed. These fees are not included in RawFares.ca’s pricing, and you are solely responsible for paying them directly to the Travel Supplier.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Airline Baggage fees, priority boarding, seat assignments, Wi-Fi, meals
  • Fuel surcharges or carrier-imposed fees
  • Hotel resort fees, incidentals, energy surcharges, destination fees
  • Car rental insurance, fuel charges, tolls, GPS, child safety seats, drop-off fees
  • Government entry/exit fees, port fees, or local taxes
  • Additional surcharges periodically imposed by authorities or suppliers

If you have questions regarding any supplier-imposed fees, you must contact the Travel Supplier directly.

Items Not Included in Quoted Prices

Unless expressly included, the following are not part of your Booking price:

  • Liability insurance
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
  • Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
  • Personal Effects Coverage
  • Hotel incidentals (phone, minibar, movies, internet, etc.)
  • Car rental add-ons (fuel, child seats, ski racks, GPS, etc.)
  • Any tax increases or surcharges imposed after booking

These charges must be paid directly to the hotel or rental car company at check-in or pick-up.

Fuel Surcharges and Other Supplier Fees

Airlines and other Travel Suppliers may impose fuel surcharges or other additional fees without prior notice. These surcharges are not included in RawFares.ca prices unless explicitly specified, and must be paid by you, the traveler.

Payment Requirements

Full payment is required at the time of Booking using a valid credit or debit card.

RawFares.ca accepts all major credit and debit cards with a verified billing address.

By completing a Booking, you authorize RawFares.ca and our approved third-party processors to charge your card for:

  • The full value of your Booking
  • Any authorized modifications or price adjustments
  • Any additional amounts you agree to during a customer service call

Payment Verification & Potential Cancellation

To protect our customers, RawFares.ca performs billing verification with your card issuer, including:

  • Billing address verification
  • Credit card verification code confirmation
  • Approval of the charge

During this verification:

  • Fares may change, and
  • Your reservation is not confirmed until ticketed

If we need additional payment information, we will contact you using the details provided in your Booking.
RawFares.ca reserves the right to:

  • Cancel your reservation if payment is not completed
  • Cancel your reservation if we are unable to reach you
  • Decline any transaction that cannot be verified

RawFares.ca is not responsible for:

  • Card declines by your bank or the Travel Supplier
  • Fare increases or availability changes during verification
  • Charges incurred due to processing delays caused by the card issuer

Travel Supplier Payment Requirements

Hotels and car rental companies typically require a valid credit or debit card at check-in or pick-up. This is used to:

  • Verify authorized card usage
  • Secure deposits or incidental charges

The cardholder must be one of the travelers listed on the Booking.

Pricing Conditions & Restrictions

All offers, prices, and Booking terms are subject to:

  • Change without notice
  • Prior sale
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Capacity limits and seat availability
  • Travel date restrictions, blackout dates, holidays, or seasonal rules
  • Minimum/maximum stay rules
  • Stopover, routing, and waitlist limitations
  • Reservation validity restrictions (commonly up to one year; extensions may involve penalties)

International Travel – Warsaw Convention Notice

If your itinerary involves travel to or from a country different from your departure country, the Warsaw Convention or related international treaties may apply. These treaties govern and may limit the liability of air carriers for:

  • Passenger injury or death
  • Baggage loss, damage, or delay

These limits apply even to portions of your trip within the same country.

Completion of Reservation

A Booking is not complete until:

  • Payment is verified
  • Availability is confirmed
  • Tickets or confirmation numbers are issued

RawFares.ca is not liable for:

  • Failed transactions due to payment issues
  • Increased fares due to processing delays
  • Cancellations arising from unverifiable payment information
